What’s Musical Bingo?
Musical Bingo is a fun way to help learners young and old to recognize the sounds of the instruments. Your musical ears will really be put to the test as you work towards being able to shout out BINGO in victory!
Musical Bingo is the same as regular Bingo, except instead of marking off the numbers that someone calls out, you’ll listen to music samples and mark off the instruments you hear. If you want to train your ear a little more before you play, head over to our blog posts about the string and woodwind and brass and percussion families to listen to every instrument one by one.

Play Offline – Advanced Version
- Every person gets their own unique game board. You can print a set of four different boards here.
- Play the music samples on the playlist below, in any order, and mark off the instruments you hear.
- Start from the beginning of the song samples or skip to different parts throughout. Some of the instruments on your game board can only be heard in the middle of some song samples whereas some will be present in almost every song.
- The first person to mark off 5 squares in a row and yells “Bingo!” wins. Your row of 5 can be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal and can include the center free space if needed.
