Since when do the kids get to have all the fun?
Join us for a fun, funky, grown-up take on childhood at the 2017 Inside the Orchestra for Adults annual event. You won’t want to miss this year’s premier party, which is sure to bring out the kid in all of us while catering to our sophisticated adult tastes. The evening will feature games, instruments, music, plus amazing, gourmet food by Y.Lo Epicure, a bevy of adult beverages (adult root beer floats, anyone?), and delectable desserts from local bakeries and confectionaries.
To cap the night off right, attendees will be treated to a stellar performance by Inside the Orchestra’s professional musicians, led by our conductors Steven Aguilo-Arbues and Maestro Tom Jensen. This time, it will be the adults who get to go “inside the orchestra!” This one-of-a-kind performance, filled with humor and music, is sure to delight your inner child.
In addition to being a fun night out for grown-ups, Inside the Orchestra for Adults is also a fundraiser. The silent auction features something for everyone, no matter your budget, from ice cream shop gift cards, to spa packages, to weekend getaways. The live auction is a real treat, with packages and experiences you can’t get anywhere else. And if auctions are not your thing, you can play one of the games of chance (last year’s “heads-or-tails winner” received a $500 Amazon gift card!) or help bring music to children in need during the direct appeal. It’s all in good fun, and all for a great cause!
Each year, Inside the Orchestra brings its unique music education programs to thousands of Colorado children, many of whom might never have the opportunity to see live music performances. By offering our programs at little to no cost to the schools with the highest need, all children are able to participate regardless of socioeconomic boundaries. The money we raise from ticket sales and auction items will help Inside the Orchestra continue to bring its educational programs to young children throughout the Denver metro community.
