DIY Steelpan Drum
In our Tiny Tots: Music of the World series we feature music from the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago. The steelpan drum was invented on these islands in the 20th century and is their national instrument.
You can create your own steelpan drum using the video below. Items you will need: Construction paper, dowel rods or unsharpened pencils, tape, and anything you want to use to decorate your drum.
