The mission of Inside the Orchestra (ISO) is to bring orchestra music to young children in the greater Denver metropolitan community, cultivating music appreciation and enhancing their education through an engaging first-hand experience with the orchestra.
Providing music for children throughout Colorado is what we are all about. At Inside the Orchestra, we know that vibrant performing arts education is an absolutely critical part of developing the whole child. For many, our concerts are their first exposure to orchestra music. We understand the importance of making it a positive experience. Our programs, Inside the Orchestra for Schools, and Tiny Tots are designed to be interactive, educational, and fun.
Our unique format of seating the audience on the floor and surrounding them with musicians goes a long way to achieving this goal. We also hire professional musicians who have expertise with their instruments as well as an ability to interact with our young audiences. In an effort to be inclusive of all children, ISO underwrites part or all of these concerts, thus providing an experience that is otherwise unavailable in many communities.
Inside the Orchestra provides many opportunities for individuals to help children in their community. You can volunteer to coordinate or work at events as well as donate directly to the organization to help get kids inside the orchestra throughout the year.
