This was our 2nd event and I cannot even wait until the Fall events. We plan on attending as many as possible.
The conductor was very fun and funny and the music was very loud and powerful.
Variety was great. My active kids were very entertained for the entire 45 mins. It went by fast.
What a phenomenal program! My two year old and my 7 month old were both completely engaged, as was I. What a unique experience, to be surrounded by an orchestra. The dancer, singers, and featured soloist were also fantastic.”
My daughter (18 months) was fascinated with all of the instruments. She actually stayed perfectly still on my lap for the entire first half hour, just staring at the musicians. She never sits still that long! So we liked the orchestra and the dancer and the ability to introduce these things to her at a young age.
I loved how close we were able to be to the musicians and how the various types of music were explained in a way that kids could relate to.
The sensory and engagement that the show provided was absolutely phenomenal! I was extremely thrilled with the level of participation from all of the people in the audience, especially our group. I loved the little girl, Theresa, I believe, who played the piano, as well as, the way the performance was very much educational and entertaining. Starting the show off by breaking the orchestra down into separate groups was so beautifully organized!
Your command of the orchestra and the audience was exceptional; a thoroughly worthwhile and enjoyable teaching concert. Thank you.
I am so thankful for this program and to be able to introduce my child to orchestral music in such a unique and fun way!
The quick change of moods and compositions to keep the kids engaged. Also, there was a lot of different composers and styles (including the opera) that exposed them to a wealth of orchestra and classical pieces without seeming overwhelming.
Ingenious, captivating, unexpected, inspiring!!
I’ve never seen the 3-year-old so excited about something she’d done during the day. She told me about all different aspects of the concert and was so excited that the tube player let her “press the buttons” afterwards.
The young piano player, she was very inspiring.
