Denver’s music and performing arts scene is lively, and we’re seeing to it that young children get a piece of the fun with our Tiny Tots Orchestra concerts and valuable cultural partnerships with local theaters, operas, and more.
Join us this month to hear the sounds of local artists from Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) and Central City Opera. If you joined us last spring, you undoubtedly remember participating in our Science of Sound Tiny Tots Concert, featuring DCPA’s Teaching Artist, Emily Doherty. This year, Emily guides us on an orchestra adventure as we solve riddles and learn about the instruments of the orchestra.
Chloe Scull from Central City Opera will also join our orchestra and help us to uncover a musical secret coming from our percussion section.
About Tiny Tots Orchestra Concerts
Tiny Tots programs are 45-minute immersive, interactive concerts for kids 7 and under (and their adults, too) to get truly “inside the orchestra.” Attendees are seated on the ground and encircled by our 30+ piece orchestra. Music selection, program design, and scripting are all geared to connect young children with music – physically, emotionally, and mentally. Meet and greets with musicians and performers always follow.
